El valor de una fotografía

Si tuviéramos que juzgar una fotografía, ¿en base a qué valores lo haríamos? Se puede pensar en términos formales o técnicos, si hay composicipon, si la luz, si el papel, los contrastes, etc. ¿son suficientes para evaluar la fotografía que tenemos enfrente? Me parece que no, asi como un edificio no es la suma de varillas, cemento y cristal empleado en su construcción, así tampoco una fotografía son sus sales de plata o el papel sobre el que está impresa, debe haber en ella algo más, algo que, uno, la califique como fotografía y dos, como una fotografía valiosa. A reserva de definir ambos aspectos, ¿podríamos someter al mismo procedimiento a todas las imágenes con las que tratamos a diario? Es decir, ¿podríamos preguntarnos por el valor de todas las fotografías que vemos día a día?
