¿Qué evaluamos en una fotografía?

En otros medios productores de imágenes puede haber un cierto grado de seguridad sobre las capacidades, alcances y destreza tanto del medio como de quien lo emplea. Por ejemplo, en el caso de la pintura se le puede pedir al pintor o artista que nos haga un dibujo, pongamos el caso, de una persona. Según el resultado evaluaremos su pericia en el medio y los alcances de este. Pero ¿en una fotografía, qué es lo que le pediremos al fotógrafo? ¿qué sepa dónde está el obturador; dónde se carga la película o dónde va la tarjeta de memoria según se trate de imágenes analógicas o digitales? ¿que quite la tapa del lente?, ¿Qué se ponga en frente del sujeto que desea retratar?

El ejemplo que acompaña esta reflexión es excelente en este sentido, por el dibujo sabemos que quien lo llevó a cabo logró, al menos, un parecido cercano al de la fotografía ¿le pediríamos los mismo al fotógrafo?
